The Khamseh antique carpet can be vacuumed regularly, if something spills on them it should be soaked up immediately with a dry cloth and removed with a mild shampoo ( pH neutral ). Every six months you should brush it with slightly vinegared water (use 20% vinegar) , using a soft cloth brush and ensuring that it dries quickly. The vinegar will brighten colours and kill moths and other unwanted creatures. Protect your carpet from strong sunlight and rotate it from time to time to ensure that it receives an even load during use.
